
Heather Buechter
Director of Communications
Heather serves as Director of Communications for Clean Fuels Alliance America. In this role, she is responsible for leading efforts that continue to grow the biodiesel, renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel industry. Her primary focus is educating stakeholders on Clean Fuels’ vision, sharing messages on the industry’s plans to move from 3 to 6 billion gallons by 2030, as well as promoting Clean Fuels and the members it serves.
Before joining Clean Fuels, Heather served as Director of Communications for the Missouri Catholic Conference. Heather earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Arkansas and spent 12 years as a broadcast journalist. An Arkansas native, Heather has extensive experience crafting stories that invoke change, building community relationships and adapting to changing demands.

Clean Fuels receives funding from a broad mix of private companies and associations, including the United Soybean Board and state checkoff organizations.
