In the most recent episode of Fueling
Conversations, a content partnership with Brownfield Ag News, Veronica Bradley,
Clean Fuels environmental science director talks about the role that science
plays in clean burning fuels and cleaner air.
“What’s really important about the Clean
Fuels industry not only can you drop in these fuels today into your equipment
to get those immediate reduction in carbon emissions, but you have certain
industries like heavy duty vehicles and equipment, rail, marine and aviation where
liquid fuel is really the only answer now because the energy density in the fuel
is so much greater than any batteries out there today,” says Bradley. “So, looking
at biodiesel, renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel, not only are they great today but they’re
really the answer for the next 10, 20, 30 years and longer particularly in aviation.”
Bradley says these fuels are important today
and in the long term as we aim to meet this administration’s carbon reduction goals
as well as the initiatives set by corporate America.
