In the most recent episode of Fueling Conversations, a content partnership with Brownfield Ag News, Donnell Rehagen, Clean Fuels CEO, explains expanded feedstocks and soybean processing capacity needed to meet the industry vision of reaching six billion gallons by 2030.
Donnell shares that investments and domestic expansion in soybean crush capacity is great news for industry growth.
“What we are seeing now which are investments from the big oil processors to try and crush more of the soybean here in the U.S., thereby making much more oil available to our industry.” Donnell says. “So, we are excited to see that, and we hope there’s more to come, and we know that’s a really wonderful thing for our nation’s soybean farmers to have easier access to crush facilities and hopefully increase the profitability of all of these family farms.”
